Family First

My niece, Charlie, will be three in July and she is absolutely the funniest person I know.

Although she can be a pain, she has moments where she is very sweet. I love being an aunt.

I go to Vandalia a couple weekends a month to see some of my family and the first thing I do when I get to town is go to my sister’s house to see my niece. I’m so proud of her, she is finally potty trained and also uses the “big potty.”

Unlike many other college students I spent my new years eve watching my niece so my sister could go to work. I wouldn’t change that for the world.

There are plenty opportunities for me to go out and have fun some other day. I’d much rather spend time with my niece, especially since I don’t get to see her as often as I would like.

Don’t take for family for granted and spend as much time with them as you can.
